The Silent Shift
There is something unnerving to a man that doesn’t know his place in the world. And yet in today’s world, there is, I feel, nothing but men who largely feel out of place. A land of misfits this world has become with people navigating somehow unknowingly away from certainty with homes left adrift, communities losing touch, and families breaking apart. It’s sad really.
I think it’s fair, and obviously obvious, to say you can talk about it all you want but without real world actionable steps being taken, nothing is going happen. With the men who feel out of place in the world inside an experience of men who feel out of place, you’d think someone would notice what’s happening. A shift is taking place. A dynamic moving about that cannot be stopped by mere force or penetration of such masculinities. Something more is required or needed … from the outside. It’s hard to put your finger on what you don’t yet know. But to say that that’s the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth I find may or may not be an outright lie.
I think there is always more to this story you and I are living no matter how many facts you constantly and consistently enable to be hammered down into place now. That is, reality. in its essence, always escapes mind. It is always one step ahead. One’s jobs, to put in simple, but not so simple that it loses it’s essence terms, is to try and align these two (your reality and your mind) as best as we can and perhaps in the long run one can make use of the gap between these two being closed as best as we can without losing ourselves to the larger framework in place that needs each of our eyes on it to ensure it what’s being built between these two worlds collapse back in on itself.
The idea I’m putting forth is … let’s just focus on taking this next step and with that, maybe the pieces falling into place that naturally and elegantly allow the ground to inevitably emerge in meeting you where you are now gives you a chance to see that bigger picture that really does want to be seen and really is trying to reveal itself to you.
See you soon.
