Timeless Treasure

Timeless Treasure
By David Avila

save it not
the sounds and utterances that would have come from what can’t be

hasn’t it been forgiven
the bell tolls that lets you know it hears you

pave this new path
one way that sees you sees itself being lit up like never before

crave not what isn’t there
the desire that doesn’t know what can’t reveal itself yet

in those cold divine letters let it be engraved
etched on the side only you see and want to do something about

did you name here yet
what sees you a bit brighter in this moment

framed in low lit hallway
there’s a place in your mind that hangs what you look for
in that place that used to be empty
there is a home you make your own
go on - call it so again

bring it forth
for showing up in the world with that part of you unbroken speaking volumes

let that bell ring away
the world calls upon you to be there - do not shy from now

wing it
It isn’t up to you not to do something about it here - and now

the ping going off
watching the world dropping into this pond of life that wants and wants more

left left left there
behind the curtain presenting you an opportunity to let that go

grieving a soul’s calling
who are you is not who you were and not who you will be

in keeping with who you are now
the pearl wants not to be let go of - hold fast

reap these new treasures
it's time isn’t it time is it not timeless
